Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and build the AWS-native data foundation for enterprise AI apps, including knowledge graphs, semantic layers, and retrieval corpora. You will shape data access patterns and lead hands-on implementations across teams.

You will own data modeling, pipelines on AWS (Glue, Lambda, S3, Athena, OpenSearch, Neptune), ensure data quality, governance, and collaborate with AI/ML teams for grounding and retrieval benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a STEM field.
• Minimum three years of data engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of knowledge graphs and ontologies powering AI reasoning and retrieval.
• Own the ingestion, data modeling, and pipelines on AWS including governance and lineage.
• Partner with security and policy teams to integrate data access with enterprise identity systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across multi-disciplinary teams.
