Job summary

Healthequity is seeking an experienced AI/Cloud Engineer to design and build AI-powered capabilities for internal business problems using Azure AI services.

The role focuses on establishing guardrails, reusable patterns, and observability across AI applications, while collaborating with Security and Compliance to ensure secure-by-design, HIPAA-aligned solutions. Remote with occasional onsite onboarding, aligned to US operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in software/cloud engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI portfolio, RAG, and agentic coding assistants.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI/LLM-powered capabilities for internal business problems using Azure AI services.
• Establish reusable patterns and guardrails for AI applications, including LLMOps and observability.
• Partner with Security and Compliance to ensure secure-by-design, HIPAA-aligned solutions.
