You will partner with model owners and business leaders to advance best-in-class model risk management, governance, and controls across the enterprise while exploring AI tools to enhance efficiency and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline required.
• FSA or ASA designation; FSA preferred; 7+ years in Life/Annuity/LTC.
• Proficiency in SQL or programming languages; experience with AXIS/MG-ALFA/Integrate helpful.
• Interest in AI tools to improve processes; documentation of models and validation findings.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent model validations for actuarial, finance, investment, and data science models.
• Validate models for purpose, design, data, and methodology; ensure reliability and limitations.
• Provide challenge on rationale, reliability, and robustness; document findings for all audiences.
• Collaborate with model owners and business leaders to deliver value-added risk management.
• Assess enterprise model risk exposure and contribute to governance and controls.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline

Fellow/ASA or Associate ASA; FSA preferred

Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline
