Qualifications
- 7+ years of health actuarial experience.
- Experience leading provider reimbursement or value-based care programs.
- Experience analyzing provider contracts and medical cost performance.
- Prior people management or team mentorship experience.
- Strong understanding of healthcare economics and health insurance financial performance.
- Experience presenting complex analyses to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial analysis supporting value-based provider arrangements and alternative payment models.
- Evaluate provider contracts and identify opportunities to improve cost, quality, and overall value.
- Develop insights related to healthcare utilization, medical cost trends, and provider performance.
- Support design and measurement of value-based reimbursement initiatives across multiple lines of business.
- Build and oversee financial models to project provider contract performance and healthcare spending.
- Monitor performance against expectations and communicate findings to leadership.
