Job summary

Voyage Advisory seeks a Senior Business Analyst – Accounting Systems to join our consulting team and bridge accounting users with technology during large‑scale system implementations and transformation initiatives.

You will lead requirements discussions, document current and future processes, and advocate for business needs while ensuring solutions align with objectives. The ideal candidate has deep accounting experience and hands‑on UAT, data validation, and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of BA experience in accounting/finance systems.
• Experience with Blackline, Kyriba, Guidewire or similar platforms.
• Strong communication with senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Experience leading UAT, data validation, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between accounting users, project teams, vendors, and tech stakeholders.
• Lead requirements sessions and document current/future-state processes and user stories.
• Analyze accounting operations to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams to gain consensus.
• Support system implementations, process redesign, and data conversion activities.
• Develop and execute UAT strategies and write test scripts/scenarios.
• Track defects and coordinate testing with business users.
• Produce clear project documentation and training materials.
