Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead the record-to-report function and partner with accounting leadership on financial reporting, audit readiness, and process improvements. This remote role offers the opportunity to strengthen close procedures, develop a high-performing team, and scale accounting operations in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, 7+ years of experience, and strong U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Experience leading close, reconciliations, audits, and financial reporting processes.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Oversee general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and management reporting.
Manage and develop accounting team members through coaching, mentoring, and performance oversight.
Strengthen internal controls, policies, procedures, and audit readiness across the organization.
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes, reporting quality, and operational efficiency.
