Job summary

Pcgrecruit is seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant to support multiple clients with accounting, financial reporting, and advisory services. The role is primarily remote, located in Metairie, LA, and requires living within an hour of New Orleans.

Roughly 20–25 hours per week, offering a pay range of $65–$70 per hour. The ideal candidate brings advanced GAAP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and 5–10+ years in accounting or audits, with CPA highly desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA highly desired.
• 5–10+ years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience.
• Experience supporting month-end close, financial statements, and audits.
• Construction industry background preferred.
• Experience with software implementations or process improvements a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support in accounting, financial reporting, and advisory services for clients.
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and internal management reports.
• Support audit preparation and respond to auditor requests.
• Assist with process improvements and system implementations.
• Collaborate with Consulting Managers and other consultants to ensure quality service.
