Job summary

Korn Ferry has partnered with a seven-location restaurant group to recruit a Senior Accountant for a remote role with a preferred location in South Florida. The successful candidate will manage the general ledger across all locations, drive close processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5+ years of restaurant accounting experience, hands-on Restaurant365 proficiency, and strong GAAP knowledge, paired with solid Excel

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in multi-unit restaurant, hospitality, or food service operations.
• Hands-on experience with Restaurant365 (R365) is required; experience without R365 will not be considered.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger across seven locations and oversee month-end, quarter, and year-end close.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, intercompany accounts, and prepare consolidated financial statements.
