Job summary

Brilliant Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a manufacturing facility. This remote, 6–8 month contract role offers a $60/hour rate and requires hands-on SAP (S/4HANA preferred) experience, with strong month-end, cost accounting, and financial reporting skills.

You will lead monthly close, prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, analyze variances, and support audits and budgeting efforts for a key site in Mississippi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, manufacturing/plant accounting preferred.
• Experience with large public company and SOX compliance required.
• Hands-on SAP experience required; SAP S/4HANA a strong plus.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills; cost accounting and month-end close experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial close for the manufacturing facility.
• Prepare and post journal entries; reconcile accounts and analyze variances.
• Process product costing and manufacturing cost allocations; analyze plant variances.
• Prepare financial statements and KPI reporting; support audits and SOX controls.
• Assist with budgeting, inventory reviews, and asset accounting processes.
