Job summary

BenchPrep is seeking a Staff/Senior Accountant to support its growing finance team. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring GAAP compliance while collaborating with departments.

You’ll contribute to budgeting, forecasting, audits, and process improvements. The ideal candidate has accounting, financial analysis, and reporting experience, plus strong communication and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years (Staff Accountant) or 5–8 years (Sr Accountant) in accounting or auditing; public accounting preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting function including reconciliations, journal entries, AR, AP, and Billing.
• Prepare financial statements and budgets; perform variance analysis.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and proper revenue recognition.
• Assist in year-end tax schedules and audits; improve processes.
