Job summary

CDK Global is seeking a Senior Accountant, Consolidations and Reporting in Chicago, IL. You will support monthly consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A in accordance with US GAAP and CDK policies.

The role collaborates with the financial systems team, FP&A, tax, and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting and compliance, while driving process improvements and SOX controls across the close cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3+ years of public company accounting experience or related SOX background.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Strong internal controls knowledge and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and standard financial tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements with footnotes and MD&A.
• Assist with top-side journal entries and consolidation hierarchies in FCCS.
• Support internal and external audits and SOX compliance.
• Submit reporting packages to private equity owners and manage deadlines.
• Collaborate across FP&A, tax, treasury and external auditors to ensure accuracy.
