Job summary

MyCloudBook is seeking a security-minded Systems/Network Administrator to protect our cloud accounting platform. You will manage the network, VPNs, firewalls, Cloudflare settings, and administer user access across systems.

The role requires 3+ years in system or network administration, strong TCP/IP, DNS, TLS knowledge, Windows and Linux experience, and familiarity with accounting platforms. We offer remote work in the United States, a yearly training budget, and real ownership of security.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of system or network administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, firewalls and VPN technologies.
• Experience with Windows and Linux administration and endpoint security tools.
• Experience with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, Odoo or Oracle NetSuite.
• Experience with the MyCloudBook platform; a free trial account is enough to learn it before you apply.
• A structured way of working and clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the network, the VPN, the firewalls and the Cloudflare configuration of the platform.
• Administer user accounts, permissions and multi-factor authentication for all systems.
• Run vulnerability scans, apply security patches and follow up on the findings.
• Manage the workstations, the endpoint protection and the office network.
• Prepare the evidence for security audits and for customer security questionnaires.
