SaidGig is seeking a Security Onion specialist for a remote contract to support AI training and evaluation with real-world cybersecurity workflows. You will document investigation steps and demonstrate processes clearly, including screen recordings, to ensure adherence to project guidelines.

Ideal candidates have hands-on Security Onion experience, strong attention to detail, and can communicate technical workflows effectively.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Security Onion for monitoring, threat detection or investigation.
• Ability to use Security Onion independently and access it.
• Experience explaining technical workflows clearly, including recording steps.

Responsabilités

• Complete assigned Security Onion workflows and tasks using practical cybersecurity experience.
• Use Security Onion capabilities for monitoring, alert investigation, log analysis, threat detection, and incident response.
• Analyze security alerts, network traffic, logs, and other relevant security data.
• Record your screen while completing workflows and clearly demonstrate each step.
• Create realistic prompts and detailed rubrics based on completed workflows.
• Document workflow steps, tools, features, and investigation techniques used.
• Review and evaluate task outputs for accuracy and alignment with project guidelines.
• Follow project instructions and quality standards while working independently in a remote environment.
