• Create realistic prompts and detailed rubrics based on completed workflows.
• Document workflow steps, tools, features, and investigation techniques used.
• Review and evaluate task outputs for accuracy and alignment with project guidelines.
• Follow project instructions and quality standards while working independently in a remote environment.

Role Overview

Apply hands-on Security Onion expertise to help improve next-generation AI systems through realistic security operations workflows, technical documentation, and quality evaluation. This remote contract role focuses on contributing real-world cybersecurity knowledge to AI training and evaluation work. No prior AI experience is required. Success in this role requires strong technical implementation skills and the ability to communicate investigation steps and findings clearly.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete assigned Security Onion workflows and tasks using practical cybersecurity experience.
• Use Security Onion capabilities for network monitoring, alert investigation, log analysis, threat detection, and incident response.
• Analyze security alerts, network traffic, logs, and other relevant security data.
• Record your screen while completing assigned workflows and clearly demonstrate each step.
• Create realistic prompts and detailed rubrics based on completed workflows.
• Document workflow steps, tools, features, and investigation techniques used.
• Review and evaluate task outputs for accuracy and alignment with project guidelines.
• Follow project instructions and quality standards while working independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Security Onion for security monitoring, threat detection, or incident investigation.
• Current access to Security Onion and the ability to use it independently.
• Comfort recording and sharing your screen while completing workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to explain technical workflows clearly.
• Experience with human data work, including data annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or similar work, is preferred.

Work Terms

Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

$90 to $175 per hour.
