Kodex is hiring a Security Engineer to own the security program end-to-end as we scale. You will take on CorpSec, SecOps, and compliance responsibilities, building the practice across CloudSec and AppSec with high autonomy in a small team.

This is a US-based remote role. You will write playbooks, run incident response, and own tooling to support a fast-growing security program using Datadog, SentinelOne, Okta, Google Workspace, and Vanta.

Qualificações

• Minimum 4–6 years in security engineering at startups or small teams.
• Hands-on operator who can build security programs from scratch.
• Experience managing Mac fleet security, MDM, and Apple tooling.
• SOC 2 / compliance cycle ownership or heavy contribution.
• Familiarity with Datadog, SentinelOne, Okta, Google Workspace, and Vanta.

Responsabilidades

• Own detection, response, and prevention across the Mac-first environment; maintain and improve incident response playbooks.
• Drive SOC 2 readiness and audits; coordinate with auditors and internal teams.
• Manage identity and access security with Okta and Google Workspace; enforce least privilege.
• Develop detections and observability; implement alerts and dashboards.
• Perform third-party security reviews and vendor risk assessments as part of the program.
