Job summary

Kodex is seeking a Security Engineer to own the security program end-to-end as we scale. You will take over CorpSec, SecOps, and compliance responsibilities and build out CloudSec and AppSec. This is a U.S.-based remote role on a small team.

You will own detection, response, and prevention across a Mac-first environment, drive the SOC 2 / Vanta program and own the January–February audit cycle, and manage Okta, Google Workspace, and access-management guardrails.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of security engineering experience.
• Hands-on operator experience building security programs from scratch.
• Experience with a Mac-first security environment and security tooling.

What You'll Do:

What You Bring:

• 4–6 years of security engineering experience, ideally at a startup or small company.
• Hands-on zero-to-one operator experience building security programs from scratch.
• Comfort with our stack: Datadog, SentinelOne, Okta, Google Workspace, Vanta.

Nice to Have:

• CS degree, CISSP, CISM, or OSCP.
• Prior DevOps or platform engineering background.
• Experience running third-party security reviews and vendor risk.
