Job summary

KnitWell Group is seeking a Security Engineer to lead security projects and enforce policies across all computing platforms. You will implement SIEM-based solutions, investigate incidents, and drive secure architecture across cloud and on-premises environments.

The role requires 5+ years in information security, with a focus on monitoring, incident response, and compliance. Remote work is supported, with occasional travel to corporate offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in information security, with emphasis on monitoring, incident response, and compliance.
• CISSP or GIAC certification desirable; PCI/Cloud experience a plus.
• Experience in performing security assessments over complex networks, applications, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Define technical security solutions to identified risks and ensure compliance with KnitWell Group security policies.
• Implement and configure security applications and infrastructure to support policies and regulations, with SIEM emphasis (Splunk a plus).
• Lead security projects and participate in investigations of computer security incidents, including containment and forensics.
• Provide SME guidance on secure network design, baseline security, and incident response.
