Job summary

ICF is seeking a Security Engineer in the United States to help ensure environments and applications meet Federal Security Standards. The role involves risk assessment, security guidance to technical teams and leadership, and collaboration with DevOps for secure cloud deployments.

The candidate will perform SAST/DAST, model threats, and participate in incident response while ensuring production readiness and robust documentation. Travel may be required annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of professional security engineering experience.
• Authorized to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
• Must reside in the U.S. and work in the U.S.
• Must have lived in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present secure solutions to technical teams and leadership.
• Assess risks and advise on security standards, best practices, and solutions.
• Document vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation with developers.
• Lead security incident response and maintain SSP/contingency plans.
• Work with DevOps to harden Linux-based machines and cloud infra.
• Use Nessus, Snyk, GuardDuty, and Inspector for assessments.
