Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Security Engineer for CorpSec to design, implement, and maintain security controls protecting corporate infrastructure, devices, and applications. You will partner with IT and engineering to identify risks and ship practical, low-friction security solutions.

This role emphasizes protecting data and assets while enabling productive workflows. You will work on hardening macOS, Chromebooks, and mobile endpoints, perform security reviews, and drive end-to-end security projects

Qualifications

• 3+ years of security engineering experience, with at least 2 years protecting macOS or similar endpoints in an enterprise.
• Proven ability to write production code (services, integrations, automations) for security infrastructure.
• Experience scoping, prioritizing, and delivering security projects end-to-end with minimal direction.
• Familiarity with device trust, zero trust network access, or endpoint security products (e.g., Cloudflare, Prisma Access, Zscaler).
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflows, costs, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions to harden endpoints and enforce secure configurations.
• Perform security reviews on enterprise systems and software used by employees.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering to integrate security into broader initiatives.
• Identify and close data exfiltration paths from local AI agents and developer tooling on endpoints.
• Provide guidance and code review support to engineers to raise the security bar.
