Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in a relevant IT/cybersecurity field.
• Coursework or project work in network monitoring, DDoS detection, TCP/IP, ACLs, incident monitoring, log analysis, threat detection, network security fundamentals, and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Turning compliance guidelines into business requirements, technical specifications, and frameworks for internal teams and external assessors.
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to understand Akamai web-scale systems and guiding the company to meet security obligations.
• Helping customers achieve security objectives and fine-tune controls to ensure optimal protection levels.
• Partnering with sales, project managers, technical support and engineering.

Education

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Networks, Information Systems, or IT.
