Job summary

NetImpact Strategies is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support secure cloud infrastructure and applications within a DoD environment. This hands-on role combines DevSecOps engineering with cybersecurity and RMF support.

The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Linux administration, infrastructure automation, vulnerability remediation, and RMF/ATO documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 4+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps, cloud or systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and AWS/Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, secrets management, monitoring and patching.
• Familiarity with DoD RMF, ATO lifecycle, NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIGs.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot secure cloud infra across development to production.
• Administer Docker and Kubernetes environments, including deployments, networking, storage and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with security scanning and automated deployment.
• Implement IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar tools.
• Administer Linux systems and troubleshoot across apps, containers, networks, and cloud services.
• Implement monitoring, logging, backup, and automation."
• Support DoD RMF/ATO activities with SSPs, POA&Ms, diagrams, inventories, and remediation evidence.
• Collaborate with ISSOs, engineers, and assessors to document NIST SP 800-53 controls.
