Job summary

ASRC Federal Technology Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Software Engineer with a minimum of a Secret security clearance and strong Microsoft .NET experience to design, develop, test, and sustain secure enterprise applications and services.

This remote position requires US-based candidates and a Pacific Time work schedule (8am–5pm PST). You will work across the full software lifecycle in an Agile/DevSecOps environment, contributing to secure, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on C#/.NET development, including ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including T-SQL and database design.
• Experience building and securing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Front-end framework knowledge (Angular, React, or Blazor) and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications and APIs in C# using .NET 6/8+, ASP.NET Core, and EF Core.
• Model data and write performant queries and migrations in SQL Server.
• Build and consume RESTful services and integrate with enterprise systems and third‑party APIs.
• Write unit and integration tests and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to build and release pipelines; support containerized deployments where used.
• Apply secure coding standards and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Modernize legacy .NET Framework apps toward current .NET and cloud-ready architectures.
• Troubleshoot production issues and deliver fixes on schedule.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and technical documentation.
