InteLogix is seeking a Seasonal Tax Preparer to guide clients through federal and state 1040 returns in a fully remote, high-volume environment. You will apply tax knowledge to ensure accurate, compliant filings while delivering empathetic customer service. January–April season with extended hours is expected.

Remote role with equipment provided. Requirements include 2+ years of paid 1040 filing experience and an active credential (EA/CPA/Attorney).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of paid experience filing 1040s with commercial tax software
• Active credential: Enrolled Agent (EA), CPA, or practicing Attorney with tax experience
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Experience with tax software platforms is a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus for select programs

Responsabilités

• Help customers complete their taxes using a tax preparation platform
• Provide tax advice, full-service return preparation, and tax calculations
• Utilize government resources and team expertise to deliver accurate answers
• Interact via video/phone tools and document interactions for records
• Prepare and review federal and state 1040 returns with high accuracy
• Explain deductions, credits, and filing requirements clearly
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff as needed
• Meet productivity, quality, and handle-time targets
• Remain on calls for full shift duration
• Adapt to client-specific software and workflows during onboarding
