Job summary

wynwood tech LLC is seeking multiple Search & ML Data Scientists for a leading European retail company. The roles are 100% remote as freelance/contracting opportunities with long-term engagement. Start ASAP; full-time or part-time arrangements possible.

English language required; CET timezone considerations apply. Ideal candidates have strong Python and SQL skills, experience in search and ranking systems, knowledge of ML lifecycle stages, and familiarity with A/B testing, cloud-based ML

Qualifications

• Experience with Python and SQL, including hands-on work with large-scale behavioral and transactional data.
• Experience in search, recommendations, ranking, personalization, or information retrieval.
• Experience across the full ML lifecycle, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, and monitoring in production.
• Understanding of relevance and ranking metrics such as NDCG, MRR, Recall, and Precision, and how they relate to online business metrics.
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests for ranking systems; cloud-based ML platforms (ideally GCP with BigQuery and Vertex AI), vector search, and query understanding are a plus.

Responsibilities
