Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test for a 100% remote role in the U.S. You will design, build, and continuously improve automation frameworks, write production-quality test code, and partner with development teams to embed quality engineering throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of experience as an SDET or in test-focused software engineering roles.
• Strong programming skills in at least one of Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major UI automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Solid experience automating REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with database validation.
• Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and modern web architectures.
• Excellent debugging, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve automation frameworks for test automation.
• Write production-quality test code and embed quality engineering across the SDLC.
• Partner with development teams to raise the bar through code and design reviews.
• Mentor more junior engineers and promote best practices in testing and quality.
• Ship meaningful work that holds up in production and scales with distributed systems.
