Dotmatics, a Siemens company, seeks an SDET to join an agile engineering team and help us build quality into LUMA, our scientific software platform.

You\'ll write and maintain automated tests using Cypress and Cucumber, own quality for your module, design test cases and investigate defects with developers and scientists. This hands‑on role offers growth toward a senior automation engineer position in a remote‑friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in QA/testing with at least 1 year of test automation.
• Comfort with a code‑first approach and curiosity for domain problems.
• Ability to design clear, repeatable test scenarios beyond basic criteria.

Responsibilities

• Write, maintain and extend automated tests for your module using Cypress, TypeScript and Cucumber.
• Own day‑to‑day quality for your area, contribute test scenarios and ensure release readiness.
• Design and document test cases for functional, regression and integration coverage.
• Investigate defects, file evidence‑rich bug reports in JIRA, verify fixes with developers.
• Keep tests green in CI pipelines and improve test execution and reporting.
• Read API docs and translate them into automated coverage.
• Collaborate with developers, scientists and DevOps, growing with senior SDETs.
