Job summary

A3 Consulting LLC is seeking a Jr. Agile Scrum Master to support a mission-critical Defense program. The role leads the process and team dynamics for a team of 10-18 engineers building a custom Insider Threat application on the ServiceNow platform.

Top Secret clearance is required, and the position is remote. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, refine backlogs with the Product Owner, and protect the team from distractions to ensure sprint commitments are met.

Qualifications

2+ years of dedicated experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team.
Experience in SAFe in a large DoD or Federal program.
CSM/PSM/SAFe certification.
Experience leading Agile teams in a DoD or Federal environment.
Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

Support all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Partner closely with the Product Owner to manage and refine the product backlog, ensuring user stories are well-defined and ready for sprints; track velocity and burndown charts.
Shield the development team from external distractions and scope creep to maintain sprint focus.
