Job summary

Allied Benefit Systems, LLC in Chicago, IL seeks a Scrum Master II to coordinate cross-functional Agile development teams, implement Scrum practices, and remove blockers to keep projects on track. Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years of Scrum Master experience and a Certified Scrum Master credential.

You will facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives, track progress with Agile metrics, and report status to stakeholders. Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira is preferred.

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience as a scrum master.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent.
Experience with Scrum or Kanban in IT projects.
Facilitating daily Scrums and sprint events.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Familiarity with Agile metrics and reporting.

Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and deliver solutions using agile values, principles, and practices.
Mentor scrum teams to follow agile practices.
Identify and manage tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
Schedule and facilitate scrum events and decision making.
Monitor progress and help teams improve performance.
Organize demos and product/system testing.
Remove impediments for the scrum team.
Prepare and present status reports to stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned.
