Job summary

Toptal is seeking a Scrum Master who can blend Agile execution with structured Waterfall planning. You will facilitate ceremonies, coach teams, and remove impediments across initiatives while building large waterfall timelines and executing them via Scrum.

You'll work with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals, deliverables, and continuous improvement, applying SAFe and PI planning practices where relevant.

Qualifications

• CSM or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Waterfall methodology.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum and Kanban).
• Familiarity with SAFe and PI planning.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives).
• Identify and remove obstacles impeding progress.
• Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile practices.
• Build and manage large waterfall timelines and execute via Scrum ceremonies.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment.
• Monitor sprint and project progress using Agile tools.
• Lead process improvements.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to align goals.
• Facilitate communication between team and stakeholders to maintain transparency.
