Job summary

Doist is seeking an Agile Project Manager to drive delivery in a Scrum-based engineering environment while coordinating time-critical internal initiatives that require structured planning and execution.

This role entails facilitating Scrum ceremonies, supporting backlog readiness and dependency visibility, coaching teams on agile practices, and managing select initiatives using a waterfall approach when necessary to meet timing and governance needs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support backlog readiness, sprint capacity planning, and dependency visibility to improve predictability and execution.
• Coach teams on agile practices, continuous improvement, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Manage selected internal initiatives using a waterfall project approach when timing, scope, governance, or coordination needs require it.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, assumptions, and resource needs for priority initiatives.
• Track progress across agile delivery and structured projects, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility into status, blockers, and tradeoffs.
• Maintain project documentation, action logs, milestone plans, and reporting artifacts.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to align priorities, resolve issues, and support on-time execution.
