Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Scrum Master to coordinate agile development activities across engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, embedded systems, and software teams. You will facilitate sprint ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure alignment with product management and client requirements.

The role requires strong Scrum mastery, hands-on experience with cross-functional teams, and familiarity with Functional Safety standards.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in engineering related field.
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent preference.
Hands-on Scrum Master with cross-functional Agile teams.
Experience with Mechanical/Electrical/Embedded Systems and Software Development.
Familiarity with ISO 26262 or equivalent Functional Safety standards.
Proficiency with Scrum tools (e.g., JIRA).

Responsibilities

Plan and facilitate Scrum activities, including sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, reviews and retrospectives.
Break down work into stories and tasks; ensure proper backlog grooming.
Coordinate with clients and product management to ensure appropriate processes are followed.
Identify and remove impediments; escalate risks outside the development group when needed.
