Job summary
Cognizant is seeking a Scrum Master to guide cross-functional Agile delivery for financial technology solutions in government cloud environments. You will champion Scrum principles, facilitate ceremonies, and ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes across product, engineering, QA, security, and compliance teams.
In this remote US role, you’ll monitor metrics, remove blockers, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Agile delivery experience, including 3+ years as a Scrum Master or similar role.
- Experience with financial services or regulated government cloud environments.
- Hands-on Jira/Azure DevOps/Confluence usage and delivery reporting.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Remove impediments and manage delivery risks and dependencies.
- Coordinate execution with product, engineering, QA, security, and compliance.
- Monitor delivery metrics like velocity, burn-down, cycle time, and release readiness.
- Drive transparency and continuous improvement in Scrum practices.
