Job summary

Intertwine Associates LLC is seeking a Scientific and Technical Advisor to support ARPA-H programs in agricultural chemistry, plant toxicology, and analytical methods. This remote role with travel will translate complex science into actionable program guidance.

You will review proposals, perform literature analyses, produce briefing materials, and collaborate with government stakeholders. A strong background in technical reporting and project leadership is required.

Qualifications

• - PhD with 2+ years of experience, or Master’s 5+ years, or Bachelor's 7+ years.
• - Plant toxicology and/or agricultural chemistry experience, including herbicide mechanisms of action and environmental fate.
• - Analytical chemistry methods for agricultural applications and field-deployable sensing.
• - Ability to evaluate proposals, conduct literature reviews, and provide actionable recommendations.
• - Track record of producing high-quality technical reports and briefing materials.
• - Strong communication, organization, and multitasking under tight timelines.
• - Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel for rapid briefing preparation.

Responsibilities

• Assess emerging technologies and opportunities in herbicide discovery and non-contact chemical analysis.
• Develop and organize programmatic documentation and briefing materials.
• Conduct market and regulatory analyses; synthesize findings into decision-quality reports.
• Track milestones, identify gaps, and advise on program development and execution.
• Communicate complex science to technical and non-technical audiences.
