Job summary
Mars is seeking a Veterinary Doctorate-licensed Scientific Services Veterinarian to support education and engagement across Texas (Austin and Houston). The role is remote with extensive travel, including overnights, and requires travel readiness and independent work from a home office.
The SSV will partner with field sales, build KOL networks, deliver Nutriton education to vets and hospital staff, and support strategic accounts to advance the veterinary diet business across the region, including
Qualifications
- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine with an active license in at least one state.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a veterinary practitioner, including internships/residency.
- Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Field Sales Teams to educate key recommenders and drive market share and sales growth.
- Develop and nurture KOL networks and support veterinary conferences and events.
- Deliver nutrition education to veterinarians, technicians, and hospital staff.
- Provide expert nutritional consultations and support strategic accounts to grow the Royal Canin veterinary diet business.
