Job summary

Axyde Analytics is seeking a named Scientific Advisor for its ERDC Fellowship Program Administration and Research Support team. This is a remote advisory role with occasional travel, focusing on digital engineering, model-based systems engineering, and rapid prototyping.

Engagement is non-exclusive consulting, with compensation by honorarium or negotiated fee for defined assignments. Ideal candidates will have research leadership in digital engineering or related fields, advanced degrees

Qualifications

Recognized expertise demonstrated by relevant research, applied projects, publications, patents or leadership.
Ability to communicate across technical and administrative teams with concise, evidence-based advice.
Prior experience in digital engineering, systems engineering, simulation or prototyping is preferred.

Responsibilities

Advise program leadership and recruiting teams on research profiles and experience criteria.
Identify appropriate recruiting channels and facilitate introductions when authorized.
Review candidate profiles or qualifications and document evidence while ensuring non-conflict; final direction remains with government officials.
Provide occasional mentoring, seminar input or short written recommendations within an agreed assignment.
Translate technical needs into clear recruiting and program-administration requirements.
