Job summary

Axyde Analytics seeks a Scientific Advisor for its ERDC Fellowship Program Administration and Research Support team. This contingent, non-government advisory role focuses on snow, ice and permafrost, cold-region hydrology and infrastructure performance in freezing environments, with remote consultations and travel as needed.

You will help shape research profiles, recruit through specified channels, and review candidate qualifications while ensuring independence from official government authority

Qualifications

Recognized expertise demonstrated by relevant research, publications, patents or leadership.
Ability to communicate across technical and administrative teams.
Disclose conflicts and obtain employer approval where required.

Responsibilities

Advise program leadership on discipline-specific research profiles and experience criteria.
Identify recruiting channels and facilitate introductions when authorized.
Review candidate profiles and document evidence while keeping final selection with government officials.
Provide occasional technical mentoring or short written recommendations within an agreed assignment.
Translate technical needs into clear recruiting requirements without implying ERDC authority.
