Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters Degree (MSW) from a GA-PSC-accepted accredited institution.
• Georgia School Social Work Certification.
• Georgia Clearance Certificate.
• Experience working with at-risk youth in an urban environment.
• Strong technology skills (Microsoft Office and Google Suite).

Responsibilities

• Support social, engagement, and community-building activities—both virtual and in-person—to cultivate belonging.
• Collaborate with Teachers, School Counselors, Special Education staff, and team members to meet student needs and ensure strong communication loops.
• Develop social goals and provide virtual social work services to help the student reach these goals as part of the IEP team.
• Promote and organize training for staff on Mental Health First Aid or comparable programs.
• Assist in school-wide events and family orientations as needed.
• Coordinate state reporting and incident reporting as required by law.
