Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited institution.
• Valid SCDE educator certificate in School Social Work.
• Must successfully complete SC SLED and FBI fingerprint background checks prior to employment.
• Preferred: LMSW or LISW licensure in SC.

Responsibilities

• Develop crisis prevention and management plans for the school.
• Identify students at risk and help remove barriers to attendance.
• Collaborate with teachers to provide virtual social work services to students.
• Support district events and ongoing professional development for staff.
• Maintain social work annual audit data and state reporting components.
