Job summary

E-Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide services to PreK-12 students in a fully remote setting. The successful candidate will conduct evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and the school team to integrate therapy goals into educational plans.

Experience in pediatric therapy and teletherapy is preferred; licensure in CA or eligibility for licensure in the state you live; strong communication and documentation skills are

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience providing physical therapy services in a pediatric or school setting.
• Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric physical therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience in teletherapy or online counseling (preferred).
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology used in physical therapy (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of students' mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and goals tailored to students' specific needs and abilities.
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve students' motor skills, range of motion, and functional independence.
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions as well as group therapy sessions as appropriate.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to integrate therapy goals into students' educational plans.
• Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' physical therapy needs.
