Job summary

E-Therapy is seeking a Remote School Physical Therapist in California. Start date August 2026, for the 26-27 school year. Caseload building with part-time or full-time options. Remote work with potential on-site placements, serving K-12 students.

Must be licensed in CA or pursuing licensure with guidance offered. Teletherapy experience is preferred. Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, direct and group therapy, collaboration with educators and families, and IEP

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience providing physical therapy in pediatric or school settings.
• Proficiency with assessment tools and PT techniques used in pediatrics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; collaborate with students, parents, and staff.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience in teletherapy or online counseling (preferred).
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment/assistive technology used in PT (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Implement evidence-based PT interventions to improve motor skills and independence.
• Provide direct one-on-one and group therapy sessions as appropriate.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate goals into IEPs.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to optimize outcomes.
• Document sessions and progress timely and accurately.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide PT input.
