Job summary

E-Therapy is seeking a Remote School Occupational Therapist (OTR) to support K-12 students in California via our teletherapy platform. Start date August 20, with a flexible caseload and 100% remote work if you reside in California.

You will assess motor skills and sensory processing, build goals with families and school staff, and deliver evidence-based interventions, while documenting progress and attending IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Must hold valid state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Must be NBCOT registered.
• Experience working with K-12 students in a virtual setting.
• Experience in school or pediatric occupational therapy.
• Proficiency with pediatric assessment tools and therapies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with students, parents, and staff.
• Computer skills including email and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience in teletherapy.
• Knowledge of sensory integration and related modalities (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with students, parents, and school staff.
• Implement evidence-based OT interventions to address students' needs and promote skill development.
• Monitor and document students' progress toward goals and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide consultation to teachers and staff to promote classroom participation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support academic and functional needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to education plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
