Job summary

Macmillan Learning is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the School & Library Marketing team on a list of picture books, middle grade, and young adult titles. You will help distribute titles, assist with state award submissions, and provide administrative support for the department.

You will also contribute to digital marketing initiatives and conference planning, working closely with the team to execute events and create compelling pitches for educators and librarians.

Qualifications

• Extremely detail- and deadline-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while balancing routine tasks with long-term projects.
• Strong written communication skills, including writing for social media and for the web.
• Ability to network with teachers and librarians, expanding relationships within the school & library market.

Responsibilities

• Execute title distribution to trade publications, educators, librarians, academics, and other contacts monthly.
• Maintain and develop contact databases with the Associate Director of School & Library Marketing.
