Job summary

Lowcountry Connections Academy and South Carolina Bridge Connections Academy seek a dynamic School Leader/Principal to guide a tuition-free, online K-12 program from a home-based office with minimal on-site requirements.

The role requires SC residency, charter school leadership experience, and a strong ability to collaborate with regulators, parents, and educators. Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees are required, with a focus on continuous improvement and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• South Carolina residency required.
• School Leader, Administrative, or management experience; charter school management is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from a regionally accredited institution.
• Ability to commute to the LCCA office in the Charleston Metro area as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee curriculum implementation and school operation protocols.
• Lead staff development, external stakeholder relationships, and Parent/School communication.
• Develop and monitor the School Improvement Plan in coordination with stakeholders.
• Ensure all state reporting, testing, and compliance tasks are completed on time.
• Report to the School Board with regular written and verbal updates.
