Job summary

Connections Education LLC. is seeking a School Counselor for Missouri Connections Academy. This role focuses on virtually assisting students with course selection and scheduling from your home office in Missouri. Counselors will also address student concerns across academic and non-academic areas.

Responsibilities include advising students on academics and career planning, supporting families with course selection, and maintaining student records. The ideal candidate will have strong technology skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use a personal electronic device and email address.
• Willingness to travel for marketing and state testing events may be required.
• Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Advise students related to academics and career planning.
• Assist students and parents with secondary school course selection.
• Review student transcripts and ensure accuracy of entries.
• Participate in the development of crisis prevention plans.
• Coordinate with teachers to identify at-risk students.
