E-Therapy in Maine is seeking a School Counselor to support PreK-12 students with academic, social-emotional, and career development. You will provide individual and group counseling, conduct assessments, and collaborate with teachers, families, and community resources to create a supportive school environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in School Counseling, a current license or eligibility, and prior school counseling experience; teletherapy experience is a plus.

Formación

• Master's degree in School Counseling from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Counselor.
• Experience as a School Counselor in a school or educational setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and counseling techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with students, families, and staff.
• Experience in assessment, crisis intervention, and individual/group counseling; teletherapy preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, personal, social, and career development needs.
• Conduct assessments and develop interventions and support plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and community resources.
• Deliver classroom lessons and workshops on study skills, conflict resolution, stress management, and career planning.
• Assist students with academic and career goal setting and college applications.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate with staff and community resources.
• Maintain confidential counseling records and participate in IEP meetings and school initiatives.
