Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Oregon-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a virtual school-based role for the 26/27 school year. This remote position offers flexibility, 1099 contracting, and direct/indirect service compensation.

The SLP will conduct teletherapy evaluations, develop IEP-aligned treatment plans, collaborate with teachers and families, document progress, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Active Oregon SLP license or ability to obtain.
• CCC-SLP preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years school-based or teletherapy experience.
• Experience with IEP development and virtual service delivery a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and technology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans remotely.
• Provide direct teletherapy and track student progress.
• Use data to guide therapy decisions and adjust interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings and MDT discussions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and IEP goals.
• Ensure compliance with state, district, and federal guidelines.
• Troubleshoot tech issues and support families with platform use.
• Advocate for access to appropriate communication services.
• Educate families and school teams about resources.
