Allied Risk Management is seeking a Remote Supervisor and Scheduler in New York, overseeing security personnel, managing schedules, and ensuring full shift coverage. The role requires strong communication, time management, and the ability to work primarily from home with weekly in-field visits to NYC sites.

Candidates should have OSHA 10/30 for construction, a security guard license, and S60 Fire Watch, along with solid proficiency in Microsoft Office and remote tools. Travel to Stuart/Port St.

As a Remote Supervisor and Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our security personnel. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the performance of our security team, managing schedules, and ensuring that all shifts are adequately staffed. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage time and resources in a remote work environment (85% of the assignment is work at home, weekly in-field visits to security posts will be required).

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• OSHA 10 or 30 for construction
• Security guard license
• S60 Fire Watch

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support security personnel across various locations throughout New York City, ensuring compliance with company policies and client requirements.
• Create, maintain, and adjust work schedules for security staff to ensure full coverage.
• Monitor attendance, track shift changes, and handle any scheduling conflicts or emergencies.
• Conduct regular check-ins with security officers to provide guidance, address concerns, and ensure job satisfaction.
• Coordinate with upper management to understand their security needs and adjust staffing as necessary.
• Prepare and submit reports on staffing levels, performance, and other operational metrics (general information forms, DARs, etc.).
• Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new security personnel.
• Respond to urgent incidents or issues that arise during shifts, providing direction and support to on-site staff.
• Utilize scheduling software and other tools to manage and optimize workforce deployment.

Qualifications:

• 3 years experience in supervision, scheduling, or a related field.
• Proficient in using scheduling software and other remote work tools.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
• Proficient with Apple products, particularly Macbook Pro and iPhones.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Availability to respond to emergencies outside of regular business hours if necessary.
• Familiarity with security industry regulations and best practices is a plus.
