Elevance Health is seeking a SCA Claims Processor I to code and process Medicare Part B professional claims while working in a flexible hybrid/ virtual environment. The role supports in-person onboarding and required training sessions, with alternate locations considered within commuting distance.

The position is part of Wellpoint Federal, Elevance Health’s federal division, and requires HS diploma with knowledge of claims processing, data entry and MS Office tools.

Formación

• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with PC, database systems, and MS Word/Excel.
• Experience with healthcare insurance claims processing is highly preferred.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Resolves edits/audits to ensure accurate and timely adjudication of suspended claims.
• Codes and processes claims forms for payment ensuring all information is supplied before eligible payments are made.
• Researches and analyzes claims issues.
• Learns the activities/tasks associated with the role.
• Works under direct supervision and relies on others for instruction and direction.
