Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an SBA lending professional responsible for marketing a full range of banking services to SBA loan eligible businesses with emphasis on client contact, origination and analysis. The role includes SBA loan origination, reviewing financials, structuring proposals and preparing credit packages.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Market a full range of banking services to SBA loan eligible businesses with emphasis on client contact and origination.
• Originate SBA loans with emphasis on client contact, origination and analysis.
• Review financial statements and supporting documents for SBA loan proposals.
• Structure SBA loan proposals and complete initial analysis.
• Prepare credit packages and ensure compliance with laws, guidelines and policies.

Description

Responsible for marketing a full range of banking services to Small Business Administration (SBA) loan eligible businesses with emphasis on client contact, origination and analysis. Responsible for SBA loan origination with emphasis on client contact, origination and analysis. Typical loan amounts are for $350K - $5MM. Reviews financial statements and supporting documents, structures SBA loan proposals, completes initial analysis, and prepares credit package. Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, agency guidelines and organization policies.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent of 4 years' SBA lending experience
• A minimum of 5 years of SBA/Business/Commercial lending experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Business or Finance degree preferred
• SBA loan originating experience Familiarity with Commercial loan underwriting systems.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task PC and internet proficiency

Compensation Range

70,000.00 -$140,000.00 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education.
