Job summary

First Quality is seeking an SAP Transportation Management Solution Engineer to lead and deliver SAP TM projects across ECC and S/4HANA environments. You will own configuration, data mapping, integration, testing, and documentation, partnering with global teams to ensure seamless transportation processes and reliable data flows across SAP modules.

This role requires hands-on implementation experience and a collaborative, proactive mindset to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, CS, or related field; 5+ years SAP TM experience.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on SAP TM implementation, configuration, and support.
• Two full-cycle SAP TM end-to-end implementations completed.
• Deep understanding of Freight Order Management, Planning, Carrier Selection, Execution, and Settlement.
• Strong SAP TM configuration, debugging, fixes, and enhancements.
• Knowledge of SD, MM, and EWM integrations.
• Familiar with SAP TM 9.6 and S/4HANA TM capabilities.
• Proficiency in OData and ABAP RAP.
• Strong architecture knowledge across SAP modules and integrations.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 for TM processes.
• Experience with SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI for TM integration.
• Performance tuning of TM processes.
• Leadership, mentoring, and project coordination.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP TM integration and data mapping between TM and ERP systems.
• Own SAP TM configuration and end-to-end transportation processes.
• Troubleshoot TM issues, identify root causes, implement fixes.
• Document SAP TM configurations, planning profiles, and batch jobs.
• Keep ECC and S/4HANA TM environments synchronized.
• Perform integrated QA testing for transportation scenarios.
• Lead low-level design, testing, and implementation with transportation team.
• Write functional and technical specs for new developments.
• Analyze transportation data and develop IT-enabled solutions.
• Review TM customizations and replace with standard solutions where feasible.
